Is Vaping Health Risky?
The author examines the possible social and health benefits of adolescent smoking, while also considering potential harm. She refers to e-cigarettes as electric cigarettes but calls them a tobacco product. The authors explore the various options available for teens in light of the fact that smoking has turned into a socially unacceptable behavior. She argues that people should think about the social norms that promote smoking to teens, while also considering the dangers of nicotine addiction. The writer also examines the difference between teenage smoking and adult smoking. After reviewing the literature, I trust her that e-cigarette vaporizers certainly are a harmless option to smoking, if used correctly.
The majority of the data on smoking and its own risks comes from adults, and this helps it be hard to assess how the risks are reduced by e-smoking. It’s estimated that approximately fourteen thousand deaths each year are because of smoking. This figure is likely an underestimation, since many deaths may be the consequence of second hand smoke. In addition, it assumes that people who smoke don’t intend to achieve this.
The writer suggests that we should think about the fact that e-cigarettes mimic the result of tobacco products, while providing a much less harmful experience. The problem with this particular approach is that it treats all smoking as dangerous, though it isn’t. Many people don’t understand how similar the taste of a cigarette to a vaporizer, or how similar the physical act of smoking would be to smoking. Furthermore, it presumes that people who utilize the cigarettes aren’t taking any real risks. The argument that comes from that is that because e smokers don’t feel the physical effects of smoking, they can not be deemed to be causing these deaths, if they are.
However, it’s important to remember that smoking cigarettes and using vaporizers are both virtually identical behaviors. Why is vaporizing unique is that it allows a smoker to find the same effect as smoking cigarettes, without the associated risks. Vaporizing offers a highly similar experience as smoking cigarettes. This means that vapers could be increasing their chances of quitting the habit. In addition, it means that they’re taking steps in direction of protecting their health while simultaneously increasing the opportunity of enjoying a wholesome lifestyle.
The author makes some valid points about the dangers of smoking cigarettes. He also makes some valid criticisms of the lack of nicotine, and of the dangers of carbon monoxide smoke. However, his real issue is among regulation. He argues that e-cigarette companies shouldn’t be allowed to advertise their products as safe when all they will have done is increase the amount of chemicals and additives that are present in traditional cigarettes. The issue with this argument is that we have already seen the negative effects of increased levels of these chemicals in traditional cigarettes.
We already have countless reports about the negative unwanted effects of nicotine, especially in smokers trying to quit. We already have plenty of stories about the rise of cancers and respiratory problems due to long-term nicotine use. It’s true that e-cigs don’t contain any nicotine, but that hasn’t stopped them from being advertised as a cure-all for smoking. E Cigarettes have certainly been an important factor in Electric Tobacconist the spike in smoking-related deaths in the last couple of years.
The writer does not may actually recognize the irony of arguing against smoking by way of a healthier alternative, but doesn’t appear to think about the potential negative health effects of his product either. He also discounts the theory that smokers who switch to the cigarettes will eventually reverse to cigarette smoking. He seems to think that all we need to do to beat cigarettes is to reduce the amount of nicotine we take in. The truth is that smokers who make an effort to quit often do so due to other health issues, and aren’t just turning to the cigarettes to get away from their bad habits. There are plenty of reasons why people smoke. The author has basically ignored all of them in his arguments against vaping.
Although it holds true that the cigarettes usually do not contain any real tobacco, some of the chemicals found in cigarette smoking are located in the smokes. The author seems to be of the belief that all we have to do to solve the issue of smoking is to reduce the amount of chemicals we take in through our lungs. The argument he presents is merely not located in sound scientific fact. There is no real proof that reducing the amount of chemicals we ingest improves anything other than our health and wellness. The author also discounts the theory that the cigarettes are less hazardous than regular cigarettes because they don’t contain any of the harmful chemicals within regular cigarettes.
